Sri Mookambika Temple is located at Kollur, Udupi District, Karnataka State, India. It is situated in the valley of the Kodachari peak of Western Ghats. Here the Devi is in the form of a Jyothir Linga incorporating both Shiva and Shatki. It is believed that the Panchaloha idol of the Devi on a Shree Chakra was consecrated by Adi Shankaracharya himself. There are several legends associated with the Goddess, but it is universally believed that any prayer made before the Devi is granted. There are several instances of the sick, childless making a vow before the Devi subsequent to which their prayers have been fulfilled. The annual car festival of the temple will be celebrated from 3rd March to 12th March in 2018. The Maha Rathothsava will be held on 10th March 2018.
